TekWiFi is a small and lightweight wireless access point utility which displays detailed information about local wireless WiFi networks.
The application sports a very basic user interface which lists all of the detected wireless networks along with details such as SSID, network type, authentication type (eg. WPA, WEP, WPA2), cipher type and the signal strength in dBm.
TekWiFi includes a diagnostic tool which displays network information such as IP address, subnet mask, default gateway and DNS servers. Just select the network SSID and enter the key.
The settings menu of TekWiFi provides little in terms of customization except for the wireless interface and provided diagnostic settings such as ISP homepage and Internet host.
In conclusion: TekWiFi is a very basic WiFi diagnostic software which provides details about the wireless access points that Windows own wireless networking API provides.

TekWiFi is provided under a freeware license on Windows from WiFi software with no restrictions on usage. Download and installation of this PC software is free and 1.6.0.4 is the latest version last time we checked.
What version of Windows can TekWiFi run on?
TekWiFi can be used on a computer running Windows 11 or Windows 10. Previous versions of the OS shouldn't be a problem with Windows 8 and Windows 7 having been tested. It comes in both 32-bit and 64-bit downloads.
